Mike has extensive experience of the “client side” of industry, with his 40-year career having spanned seven countries on three continents. His roles have all required Mike to recruit, train and develop top flight Executives and their supporting teams.
His industry focus has been largely in businesses with extensive and complex Supply Chains, including beverages and brewing; nuclear and conventional power generation and project management. He has recently headed up the Global Supply Chain Integration Project for a FTSE Top 10 Company.
He has held a variety of global enterprise and mid-cap company senior executive positions from Chairman and CEO of $1bn+ enterprises to functional specialist, including Technical, Operations and Commercial Director roles, with experience gained across most of the key disciplines of a large corporation.
As Consultant, he headed up the evolution of a globally integrated innovation and new product development programme in the beverage industry. Also as Interim Global Corporate Affairs Director of a FTSE top 10 company he led the implementation of a global responsibility and sustainability strategy.
Mike is a founder member of the Prague Leadership Institute, established with a Vision of creating the centre of excellence for the development of high performance 21st century leaders. PLI, under the leadership by Pepper de Callier, recently received the AI Media Corporate Vision Award as the top firm in the field of Corporate Leadership Coaching in Europe.
Mike is a Mechanical Engineer and Chartered Engineer in the UK, with post graduate qualifications in nuclear power and in manufacturing; He is a Founder Member of the Prague Leadership Institute with its charter to help Boards of Directors in their efforts to work together and build unity as a close knit and highly effective leadership team.
